R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Sujana Ganganamani participated in the National |
|
Rural Electric Cooperative Association Government-in-Action Youth |
|
Tour in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, Selected as a Youth Tour delegate by the Pedernales |
|
Electric Cooperative, Ms. Ganganamani joined some 1,500 students |
|
from around the country for an all-expenses-paid trip to the |
|
nation's capital; over the course of the program, she learned about |
|
U.S. history and government, met with local political |
|
representatives, and toured various historic sites, such as Capitol |
|
Hill, the U.S. Supreme Court, and Arlington National Cemetery; and |
|
WHEREAS, A senior at McNeil High School in the Round Rock |
|
Independent School District, this bright young Texan plans to study |
|
either business or information science in college; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sujana Ganganamani has distinguished herself as a |
|
young leader of great promise, and she may indeed take justifiable |
|
pride in participating in this exciting experience; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Sujana |
|
Ganganamani on taking part in the 2023 National Rural Electric |
|
Cooperative Association Government-in-Action Youth Tour and extend |
|
to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Ganganamani as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
