R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Cain Anthony Lee on |
|
|
October 30, 2023, at the age of 14, has brought an unimaginable loss |
|
|
to the family and friends of this beloved young man; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cain was the cherished son of Cody and Natasha Lee, |
|
|
and he was blessed with the companionship of his older brother, |
|
|
Zander, and his twin brother, Carter; he went on to endear himself |
|
|
to many friends, and he was recognized by others as a talented |
|
|
athlete and a natural leader; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cain demonstrated character and compassion far |
|
|
beyond his years; those traits, combined with his deep devotion to |
|
|
his faith, his family, and his country, made him a source of |
|
|
inspiration to everyone around him; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although Cain Lee is greatly missed, he has left |
|
|
behind a wealth of wonderful memories, and he will forever hold a |
|
|
special place in the hearts of those who held him dear; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature, 3rd |
|
|
Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Cain Anthony Lee |
|
|
and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this |
|
|
day, it do so in memory of Cain Lee. |
