R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their |
|
memories of Juan C. Venecia of La Victoria, who passed away on |
|
November 24, 2023, at the age of 81; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Pedro and Ernestina Venecia, Juan Venecia |
|
was born in La Grulla on January 27, 1942; he enjoyed a rewarding |
|
career of 18 years with General Mills in Aurora, Illinois, and he |
|
went on to own several businesses in Alto Bonito, Texas; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Venecia married the love of his life, Rebecca, |
|
in 1965, and he took great pride in their four children, Juan, |
|
Rosanna, Becky Lee, and Lisa Marie; with the passage of time, his |
|
treasured family grew to include four grandchildren, Rosanna, |
|
Santiago, Jake, and Alexa; and |
|
WHEREAS, Juan Venecia lived a life that was rich in personal |
|
and professional achievements, and he will forever be a source of |
|
inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
|
of Juan C. Venecia and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of |
|
his family: to his children, Juan A. Venecia and Becky Lee Venecia; |
|
to his grandchildren, Rosanna Solis, Santiago Solis, Jake |
|
Mackenzie, and Alexa Mackenzie; and to his other relatives and many |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Juan |
|
Venecia. |
