AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the use of certain lighting equipment on authorized |
|
|
emergency vehicles. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 547.702, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c-1) An authorized emergency vehicle may be equipped with |
|
|
signal lamps that display alternating or flashing white lights that |
|
|
comply with the requirements of Subsections (c)(1) and (3). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
