A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the validity of a proposed state agency rule for which |
|
|
the agency fails to publish a summary of the rule on the agency's |
|
|
Internet website. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 2001.023, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: |
|
|
(e) A state agency's failure to publish on the agency's |
|
|
Internet website a summary of a proposed rule as required by |
|
|
Subsection (c) does not invalidate the adopted rule or any agency |
|
|
action taken related to the rule. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
