A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the designation of certain morgues as the Joseph R. |
|
|
Biden Morgue. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subtitle A, Title 8, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Chapter 675 to read as follows: |
|
|
CHAPTER 675. MORGUES |
|
|
Sec. 675.001. JOSEPH R. BIDEN MORGUE. (a) A temporary or |
|
|
permanent morgue that is established using money from Operation |
|
|
Lone Star is designated as the Joseph R. Biden Morgue. |
|
|
(b) A morgue described by Subsection (a) shall post a sign |
|
|
indicating the designation as the Joseph R. Biden Morgue in a |
|
|
conspicuous place reasonably likely to be viewed by all persons |
|
|
entering the morgue. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
