R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Kristen Michelle
  Bryant were deeply saddened by her passing on March 16, 2022, at the
  age of 38; and
         WHEREAS, Michelle Bryant was born to Kevin and Cristi Bryant
  in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on June 14, 1983, and at the age of seven,
  she moved to Texas with her parents; as a youth, she accompanied her
  family on medical mission trips to Central America, and she later
  traveled with members of her church to Russia to work at orphanages;
  a graduate of Uplift North Hills Preparatory in Irving, she went on
  to receive a business degree from Syracuse University; and
         WHEREAS, Following her college graduation, Ms. Bryant lived
  and worked in New York City and Dallas; she later relocated to
  Washington, D.C., and earned a master's degree in international
  affairs at American University; over the course of her studies, she
  served as a research assistant in the country of Georgia, visited
  Turkey, and became fluent in Russian after taking language
  immersion courses at universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg;
  ultimately, she was employed at the World Bank; and
         WHEREAS, Possessed of a keen intellect and an insatiable
  curiosity, Ms. Bryant was passionate about traveling, writing, and
  reading and especially enjoyed philosophical and foreign
  literature; moreover, she shared a deep love of music with her three
  siblings, Clayton, Jonathan, and Patrick; and
         WHEREAS, Although Michelle Bryant will be deeply missed, she
  has left her loved ones with a wealth of memories that they will
  forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kristen Michelle
  Bryant and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of her
  family: to her father and stepmother, Kevin and Deni Bryant; to her
  mother and stepfather, Cristi Dungan-Boliver and Tommy Boliver; to
  her brothers, Clayton, Jonathan, and Patrick Bryant; to her
  grandmothers, Ann Dungan and Aletha Lydick; to her aunts and
  uncles, Pam and Mark Smith, Jenifer and Matt Howry, and Renee and
  Rick Pearce; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kristen
  Bryant.
