R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Edwards County elected |
|
|
official drew to a close when Lee Sweeten retired as county |
|
|
commissioner for Precinct 2; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Sweeten served |
|
|
his fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|
|
responsibilities of his office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Lee Sweeten has helped make Edwards County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Lee Sweeten for his service as Edwards |
|
|
County commissioner for Precinct 2 and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sweeten as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
