R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Pecos County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Santiago Cantu Jr. retired as county commissioner on |
|
|
December 31, 2022; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Cantu served his |
|
|
fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|
|
responsibilities of his office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good |
|
|
governance, Santiago Cantu Jr. has helped make Pecos County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Santiago Cantu Jr. for his service as a |
|
|
Pecos County commissioner and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Cantu as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
