R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Mason County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Polly McMillan retired as county treasurer in |
|
|
December 2022; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First taking office in January 1995, Ms. McMillan |
|
|
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable |
|
|
27-year tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Polly McMillan has helped make Mason County an |
|
|
even better place in which to live and work, and she has set a |
|
|
standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Polly McMillan for her service as Mason |
|
|
County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. McMillan as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
