R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Donna Brice retired as tax assessor-collector on |
|
|
December 31, 2020; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First taking office on January 4, 1979, Ms. Brice |
|
|
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable |
|
|
41-year tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Donna Brice has helped make Real County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Donna Brice for her service as Real |
|
|
County tax assessor-collector and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Brice as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
