R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew |
|
|
to a close when Manuel Rubio retired as county commissioner on |
|
|
December 30, 2020; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First taking office on December 29, 2004, Mr. Rubio |
|
|
served his fellow citizens with distinction throughout his notable |
|
|
16-year tenure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|
|
good governance, Manuel Rubio has helped make Real County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Manuel Rubio for his service as a Real |
|
|
County commissioner and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
