R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Schleicher County official |
|
|
drew to a close when Johnny Mayo retired as county commissioner on |
|
|
December 31, 2020; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Mayo served his |
|
|
fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|
|
responsibilities of his office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good |
|
|
governance, Johnny Mayo has helped make Schleicher County an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|
|
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Johnny Mayo for his service as a |
|
|
Schleicher County commissioner and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Mayo as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
