R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Adelaido O. Salinas is retiring from the Internal |
|
Revenue Service of the United States Department of the Treasury on |
|
March 31, 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, First hired by the IRS in 1985, Mr. Salinas has |
|
carried out his duties with distinction for nearly 38 years; prior |
|
to joining the agency, he served in the United States Navy for more |
|
than a decade, and he continued his service as a member of the Naval |
|
Reserve for over 14 years until his retirement in 1997; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Salinas is a graduate of Pan American |
|
University, and he completed his education at The University of |
|
Texas-Pan American, where he earned a master's degree in business |
|
administration; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and |
|
support of a fine family that includes his wife, Miranda, and his |
|
daughter, Melissa; and |
|
WHEREAS, With his professionalism, dedication, and |
|
commitment to excellence, Adelaido Salinas has earned the respect |
|
and admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with |
|
pride on his exemplary record of service as he begins the next |
|
exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Adelaido O. Salinas on his |
|
retirement from the Internal Revenue Service and extend to him |
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Salinas as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
