R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso of |
|
Corpus Christi were deeply saddened by her passing on October 16, |
|
2022, at the age of 55; and |
|
WHEREAS, The former Matilda Aleman was born on December 29, |
|
1966, to Daniel Aleman Sr. and Guadalupe Salazar Aleman; and |
|
WHEREAS, In 1989, she married Reynaldo Jasso, and the couple |
|
went on to share a fulfilling union that spanned more than 33 years; |
|
she took great pride in her two sons, Reynaldo and Manuel; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her marriage, Mrs. Jasso dedicated |
|
herself to her family and her home, and she could often be found |
|
volunteering at her children's schools and supporting them in their |
|
extracurricular activities; in her leisure time, she enjoyed |
|
crafting and decorating her home for the holidays; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Matilda Jasso is deeply missed, memories of |
|
her kindness and joyful laughter remain to comfort and inspire |
|
those she leaves behind, and they will forever hold her close in |
|
their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Reynaldo Jasso Sr.; to her sons, Reynaldo Jasso Jr. and |
|
Manuel Jesus Jasso; to her siblings, Thelma Lopez and her husband, |
|
Louis, Lesbia Aleman, Senona Fernandez, and Daniel Aleman Jr. and |
|
his wife, Anna; to her aunt, Daria Altamirano; to her godson, |
|
Nicholas Fernandez; and to her many other relatives and friends; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Matilda |
|
Aleman Jasso. |
