R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tint-on-Wheels in McAllen is marking the 25th |
|
|
anniversary of its founding in 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tint-on-Wheels was established on June 15, 1998, as |
|
|
a home-based business; the company went on to operate from rented |
|
|
facilities until 2020, when it purchased the Plaza on 2nd Street; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Under the ownership of David Padilla, |
|
|
Tint-on-Wheels serves individuals and businesses in the Rio Grande |
|
|
Valley; the company provides window-tinting services for |
|
|
automobiles, RVs, homes, and offices, and it also offers a variety |
|
|
of specialty services to meet the unique needs of its clients; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses contribute to |
|
|
the economic prosperity of the Lone Star State, and those |
|
|
enterprises that build a record of dependability and longevity |
|
|
enjoy a special degree of esteem in their communities; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Tint-on-Wheels in McAllen on the occasion |
|
|
of its 25th anniversary and extend to David Padilla and his staff |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
