H.R. No. 1429
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Lauren Wilson has ably served her fellow Texans as
  an intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham
  during the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Wilson has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks, such as
  conducting legislative research, corresponding with constituents,
  and taking meetings; in addition to gaining valuable experience in
  the field of public service, she has learned more about the
  legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
  State; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Timothy and Heather Wilson,
  Ms. Wilson is a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where
  she is currently pursuing a double major in government and Spanish
  with a minor in public policy; in recognition of her many scholastic
  achievements, she received the AP Scholar with Distinction award
  from the College Board in 2021 and 2022, and she was named Student
  of the Year by her high school's Honors Biology Department; after
  graduating from college, she plans to pursue a career in public
  policy with a focus on sustainability and environmental regulation;
  and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Lauren Wilson for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charles
  Cunningham and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
