R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Katelyn Pasierb has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
an intern in the office of State Representative Terri Leo-Wilson |
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Pasierb has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Pasierb is currently a junior at The University |
|
of Texas at Austin, where she is working towards bachelor's degrees |
|
in biology and philosophy with honors as a Polymathic Scholar and |
|
has earned placement on the dean's honor list; active in her campus |
|
community, she serves as the vice president of Global Medical |
|
Brigades; in addition, she worked as a political assistant and |
|
campaign coordinator for Texans for Greg Abbott, as a senior page |
|
during three Texas Republican conventions, and as a grassroots |
|
intern to the regional director for U.S. Senator John Cornyn's |
|
campaign; following her graduation, she hopes to attend law school; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Katelyn Pasierb for her service as a |
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terri |
|
Leo-Wilson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Pasierb as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
