R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Katelyn Pasierb has ably served her fellow Texans as
  an intern in the office of State Representative Terri Leo-Wilson
  during the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Pasierb has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Pasierb is currently a junior at The University
  of Texas at Austin, where she is working towards bachelor's degrees
  in biology and philosophy with honors as a Polymathic Scholar and
  has earned placement on the dean's honor list; active in her campus
  community, she serves as the vice president of Global Medical
  Brigades; in addition, she worked as a political assistant and
  campaign coordinator for Texans for Greg Abbott, as a senior page
  during three Texas Republican conventions, and as a grassroots
  intern to the regional director for U.S. Senator John Cornyn's
  campaign; following her graduation, she hopes to attend law school;
  and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Katelyn Pasierb for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terri
  Leo-Wilson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Pasierb as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
