R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jaren Tankersley has ably served his fellow Texans |
|
|
as legislative director in the office of State Representative Terri |
|
|
Leo-Wilson during the 88th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Tankersley's resourcefulness and initiative |
|
|
have earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his |
|
|
contributions to carrying forth Representative Leo-Wilson's |
|
|
legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens |
|
|
across the Lone Star State; in addition to conducting research and |
|
|
analysis on legislation and policies, he has helped coordinate |
|
|
communication with other agencies, written reports and briefing |
|
|
materials, and managed four legislative interns; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Tankersley is a senior at The University of |
|
|
Texas at Austin, and he has previously served as a copywriter for |
|
|
RedRock Strategies, as an intern with the Texas Public Policy |
|
|
Foundation, and as a field representative for Merus Strategies in |
|
|
Florida; in addition, he completed a legislative internship in the |
|
|
office of State Representative John Smithee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |
|
|
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jaren Tankersley for his service as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Terri |
|
|
Leo-Wilson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Tankersley as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
