R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Iman Anwar has achieved great distinction by earning |
|
|
a Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare |
|
|
Administration from Texas Woman's University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born and raised in North Texas, Miss Anwar received |
|
|
a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Medical Humanities from UT San |
|
|
Antonio previously, where she also served as a Drum Major in the |
|
|
Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Miss Anwar has assumed various leadership roles in |
|
|
organizations such as the Parkland Emerging Leader Program, the |
|
|
Pak-America Business Forum, the TWU Muslim Student Association, and |
|
|
the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Miss Anwar specializes in healthcare policy, and has |
|
|
served North Texas in various different capacities, from working on |
|
|
the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic to assisting in cancer |
|
|
screenings at Parkland Memorial Hospital; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, North Texas has benefited greatly from Miss Anwar's |
|
|
contributions, and she may indeed take pride in her |
|
|
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Iman Anwar on her completion of |
|
|
Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business |
|
|
Administration from Texas Woman's University; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Iman Anwar as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
