R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Karissa Rodriguez has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a committee clerk for the Resolutions Calendars |
|
|
Committee and its chair, State Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra, |
|
|
during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rodriguez has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
which have included supporting Representative Guerra in his role as |
|
|
chair of the Resolutions Calendars Committee, as well as analyzing |
|
|
bills, conducting research, and working on resolutions and talking |
|
|
points; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of |
|
|
public service, she has learned more about the legislative process |
|
|
and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Rodriguez earned her bachelor's degree in |
|
|
public administration from Texas State University in 2021, and she |
|
|
is currently pursuing a master's degree at The University of Texas |
|
|
at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs; she previously worked as a |
|
|
licensing manager for the Texas Executive Council of Physical |
|
|
Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Karissa Rodriguez has performed her duties as a |
|
|
committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Karissa Rodriguez for her service as |
|
|
Resolutions Calendars committee clerk and in the office of State |
|
|
Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
