R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Anita Hinojosa of the Dr. M. L. Garza-Gonzalez |
|
|
Charter School received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the |
|
|
Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in |
|
|
Education event on March 29; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Hinojosa has enjoyed a rewarding career in |
|
|
education that has spanned more than five and a half decades; she is |
|
|
currently employed as deputy superintendent of business and support |
|
|
services at the Dr. M. L. Garza-Gonzalez Charter School, where she |
|
|
has worked for 12 years; she also serves as the school's federal |
|
|
programs director and has helped secure numerous grants to empower |
|
|
instructors and provide a quality education to students; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Anita Hinojosa has set an outstanding example of |
|
|
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Anita Hinojosa on her receipt of a |
|
|
2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center |
|
|
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Hinojosa as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
