R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Captain Erick E. Erinna Sr. of the U.S. Army is being |
|
honored for his leadership as company commander of the Houston |
|
Medical Recruiting Station during his change of command ceremony on |
|
June 9, 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, Captain Erinna will officially take on his new |
|
assignment as career manager at the Army Human Resources Command in |
|
Fort Knox, Kentucky, on June 26, 2023, bringing a wealth of |
|
experience from his current role as company commander; over the |
|
course of his two-year tenure, he has overseen targeted recruiting |
|
operations in three states, and he has supervised a team of 5 |
|
officers, 18 noncommissioned officers, and 3 civilians; under his |
|
able leadership, the company has annually commissioned more than 70 |
|
health care professionals in over 41 occupational specialties of |
|
the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserve; and |
|
WHEREAS, Prior to joining the Houston Medical Recruiting |
|
Company, Captain Erinna served as a deputy chief human resources |
|
officer for the 804th Medical Brigade in Massachusetts, a battalion |
|
adjutant for the 439th Multifunctional Medical Battalion in New |
|
Jersey, and a station officer in charge for the Army Medical |
|
Department in Oklahoma; his many military honors include a 2021 |
|
General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, Recruiting Gold Badge, |
|
Recruiting Ring, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army |
|
Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Good |
|
Conduct Medal; and |
|
WHEREAS, Captain Erinna holds a bachelor's degree and a |
|
master's degree in business administration from Ashworth College in |
|
Norcross, Georgia; he plans to pursue a doctoral degree in |
|
business; and |
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an exceptional commitment to the |
|
mission of the U.S. Army, Captain Erick Erinna has greatly |
|
benefited his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride |
|
on his outstanding record of service as he takes on the challenges |
|
and opportunities of his new position; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Captain Erick E. Erinna Sr. on his |
|
change of command and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|
future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Captain Erinna as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
