R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A number of talented individuals have provided |
|
|
indispensable support as legislative interns in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Carl Sherman during the 88th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, these dedicated workers |
|
|
have handled a wide variety of challenging tasks for the office; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, they have learned more about the legislative process and |
|
|
the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of this outstanding group include RayVon |
|
|
Addison, Chelsea Laughrun, Emma Meehan, Francesca Starkie, Evelyn |
|
|
Conway, and Jessica Paige; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These six noteworthy individuals have performed |
|
|
their duties as legislative interns with great skill and |
|
|
commitment, and they are indeed deserving of special recognition |
|
|
for their fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend the legislative interns who have served |
|
|
in the office of State Representative Carl Sherman and extend to |
|
|
each of them sincere best wishes for continued success in all their |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for Mr. Addison, Ms. Laughrun, Ms. Meehan, Ms. Starkie, |
|
|
Ms. Conway, and Ms. Paige as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
