R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Words cannot fully express the heartache felt by the |
|
family of Keren Ella Shalom Leal of Georgetown, who passed away on |
|
January 5, 2023, at the age of 12; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Georgetown on May 17, 2010, Ella Leal was the |
|
beloved daughter of Janis and Roland Leal; she grew up with the |
|
companionship and affection of nine older siblings, Emilie, Elise, |
|
Caroline, Abigail, Luke, Ava, Josiah, Caleb, and Eden, and was |
|
further blessed with many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and |
|
nephews; and |
|
WHEREAS, Creative and imaginative, Ella could often be found |
|
exploring the outdoors and letting her curiosity about the world |
|
guide her; in addition to devoting herself to her studies as a |
|
homeschool student, she had a passion for drawing, painting, and |
|
other artistic endeavors, and she also loved animals, especially |
|
horses and dogs; she shared with her family a deep commitment to her |
|
faith; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although the loss of this unique and vibrant young |
|
girl is difficult to bear, Ella Leal brought a light into the lives |
|
of her loved ones that can never be extinguished, and they will |
|
forever keep her memory close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keren Ella Shalom Leal |
|
and extend profound condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
parents, Janis and Roland Leal; to her siblings, Emilie Leal |
|
Plowman and her husband, Nathan, Elise Leal, Caroline Leal |
|
Dominguez and her husband, Joe, Abigail Leal Scallan and her |
|
husband, Evan, Luke Leal and his wife, Hope, Ava Leal, Josiah Leal, |
|
Caleb Leal, and Eden Leal; and to her many other relatives and |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ella Leal. |
