R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sergio Coronado was elected as the El Paso County
  commissioner for Precinct 4 in November 2022; and
         WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, Mr. Coronado
  draws on a wealth of valuable experience; a longtime attorney and a
  dedicated public servant, he has demonstrated a strong commitment
  to the community through the years, serving on the Canutillo
  Independent School District Board of Trustees for more than a
  decade and a half; he has also given back as a cofounder and member
  of the Canutillo Alumni Foundation for Education (CAFÉ), which
  provides scholarships to deserving graduates of Canutillo High
  School and Northwest Early College High School; and
         WHEREAS, Learning the value of hard work at an early age,
  Mr. Coronado went on to graduate as valedictorian of Canutillo High
  School and subsequently earned his bachelor's degree from The
  University of Texas at El Paso and his law degree from the UT Austin
  School of Law; he began his legal career as a clerk in the
  prosecutor assistance section of the Texas Attorney General's
  Office, where he later worked as an attorney; he then served as an
  assistant county attorney in Travis and El Paso Counties, and
  following a tenure with the law office of Grambling & Mounce, he
  established his own practice in 1988; and
         WHEREAS, The effective operation of government depends on the
  able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, and Sergio
  Coronado's skills and experience are sure to serve him well in his
  new role; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Sergio Coronado on his election as
  the El Paso County commissioner for Precinct 4 and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Coronado as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
