R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Humberto Enriquez took office as the El Paso County |
|
justice of the peace for Precinct 7 on January 1, 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, A licensed attorney, Mr. Enriquez has spent his |
|
30-year career practicing law in both Texas and New Mexico; during |
|
that time, he has acquired trial experience in state and federal |
|
courts and represented clients in both civil and criminal cases; he |
|
won election as an El Paso County justice of the peace on November |
|
8, 2022; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Enriquez holds membership in the Texas, New |
|
Mexico, El Paso, and Mexican American Bar Associations, and he is |
|
also affiliated with a number of professional organizations, |
|
including the American Inns of Court, the American Board of Trial |
|
Advocates, and the Texas and New Mexico Trial Lawyers Associations; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, In assuming his duties as justice of the peace, |
|
Humberto Enriquez is performing a vital service for the citizens of |
|
El Paso County, and his community is certain to benefit greatly from |
|
the dedication and expertise that he brings to this important role; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Humberto Enriquez on his election |
|
as El Paso County justice of the peace for Precinct 7 and extend to |
|
him sincere best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Enriquez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
