R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Melissa Deng Huang has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2023 at Taylor High School in Katy, and she indeed |
|
|
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Huang demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Ms. Huang plans to attend The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin, where she will major in computer |
|
|
science; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Taylor High School, Melissa Deng |
|
|
Huang has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Melissa Deng Huang on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Taylor High School Class of 2023 and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Huang as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
