R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Logan John Pedersen has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2023 at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, and he indeed |
|
|
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Pedersen demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Mr. Pedersen plans to attend |
|
|
The University of Texas at Austin, where he will major in chemical |
|
|
engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Morton Ranch High School, Logan |
|
|
John Pedersen has earned the respect and admiration of both his |
|
|
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Logan John Pedersen on graduating |
|
|
as valedictorian of the Morton Ranch High School Class of 2023 and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Pedersen as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
