R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sodais Kader Ghulam has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2023 at Mayde Creek High School in Houston, and he |
|
|
indeed merits special recognition for receiving this significant |
|
|
honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Ghulam demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Mr. Ghulam plans to attend The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin, where he will major in computer |
|
|
science; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Mayde Creek High School, Sodais |
|
|
Kader Ghulam has earned the respect and admiration of both his |
|
|
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sodais Kader Ghulam on graduating |
|
|
as valedictorian of the Mayde Creek High School Class of 2023 and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Ghulam as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
