R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Evan Jin has been named salutatorian of the Class of |
|
2023 at Jordan High School in Fulshear, and he indeed merits special |
|
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the two |
|
top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Jin demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Mr. Jin plans to attend The |
|
University of Texas at Austin, where he will major in computer |
|
science and business; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Jordan High School, Evan Jin has |
|
earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and |
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Evan Jin on graduating as |
|
salutatorian of the Jordan High School Class of 2023 and extend to |
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next |
|
exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Jin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
