R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Cason Moorman has distinguished himself in his
  responsibilities as an intern in the office of State Representative
  Ed Thompson during the 88th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Moorman joined the staff as a participant in the
  Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program; during his
  time at the State Capitol, he has provided vital assistance in
  handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, which have included
  managing the representative's schedule, conducting legislative
  research, and assisting with constituent casework; in addition to
  gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has
  learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing
  citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan is currently enrolled
  at Texas A&M University, where he is expecting to graduate with a
  bachelor's degree in agriculture economics in May 2024 and with a
  master's degree in public service and administration in May 2026;
  active in many organizations on campus, he has served as chair of
  the Development Subcommittee for Freshmen Leaders in Education, and
  he has volunteered with TAMU BUILD, where he worked with other
  students to convert shipping containers into portable community
  health clinics; and
         WHEREAS, Cason Moorman has performed his duties as a
  legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Cason Moorman for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Ed
  Thompson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Moorman as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
