R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Miguel Ignacio Ruiz has ably served his fellow |
|
|
Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Trey |
|
|
Martinez Fischer during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Ruiz has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, such as |
|
|
drafting bill analyses, aiding constituents, and supporting the |
|
|
House Juvenile Justice and Family Issues Committee; in addition to |
|
|
gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has |
|
|
learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
|
citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Ruiz recently earned a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
economics from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was |
|
|
involved in the Latinx Honors Student Association, the Phi Delta |
|
|
Phi Pre-Law Honor Society, and the Latin Economic and Business |
|
|
Association; he has also volunteered with Hill Country Daily Bread |
|
|
Ministries in Boerne; following the legislative session, he plans |
|
|
to attend law school; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Miguel Ruiz has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Miguel Ignacio Ruiz for his service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Trey |
|
|
Martinez Fischer and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Ruiz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
