R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals of the Amarillo Independent School |
|
|
District was named the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the |
|
|
Region 16 Education Service Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The winners of these prestigious annual awards are |
|
|
first nominated for consideration by their fellow faculty members, |
|
|
and those who are later chosen as district Teacher of the Year |
|
|
become eligible for the regional honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, At the time of the award, Ms. Ryals was a third-grade |
|
|
language arts teacher at Humphrey's Highland Elementary School, and |
|
|
she currently serves as the campus's librarian; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tiffany Ryals on her selection as |
|
|
the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Region 16 Education |
|
|
Service Center and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ryals as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
