R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Brenden Carlos Galvan has been named valedictorian |
|
|
of the Class of 2023 at Harold T. Branch Academy in Corpus Christi, |
|
|
and he indeed merits special recognition for receiving this |
|
|
significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Galvan demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, he has gained the opportunity to |
|
|
address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their |
|
|
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Harold T. Branch Academy, |
|
|
Brenden Carlos Galvan has earned the respect and admiration of both |
|
|
his teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability |
|
|
and commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Brenden Carlos Galvan on |
|
|
graduating as valedictorian of the Harold T. Branch Academy Class |
|
|
of 2023 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
as he begins the next exciting chapter of his life. |
