R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jace Wilson has been named valedictorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2023 at Bishop High School, and he indeed merits special |
|
|
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Wilson demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, he has gained the opportunity to |
|
|
address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their |
|
|
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Bishop High School, Jace Wilson |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jace Wilson on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Bishop High School Class of 2023 and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of his life. |
