R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Maharshi J. Patel has been named salutatorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2023 at Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus Christi, |
|
|
and he indeed merits special recognition for receiving this |
|
|
significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the two |
|
|
top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Patel demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, Mr. Patel has gained the opportunity |
|
|
to address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on |
|
|
their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at Veterans Memorial High School, |
|
|
Maharshi J. Patel has earned the respect and admiration of both his |
|
|
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Maharshi J. Patel on graduating as |
|
|
salutatorian of the Veterans Memorial High School Class of 2023 and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Patel as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
