R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Aaron Rodriguez of Seale Junior High School in |
|
Robstown distinguished himself through his participation in the |
|
Texas Science and Engineering Fair, which took place in College |
|
Station from March 24 to 25, 2023; and |
|
WHEREAS, Each year, talented students from across the state |
|
complete projects on a wide range of science-related topics; those |
|
who advance to the Texas Science and Engineering Fair are given the |
|
opportunity to present their projects to judges and compete for |
|
awards; and |
|
WHEREAS, A sixth-grader at Seale Junior High, Aaron Rodriguez |
|
is the first student from the Robstown Independent School District |
|
to participate in the state science fair; inspired by his love for |
|
fishing, he studied how mullets, a common bait fish, react to |
|
underwater sound waves; and |
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the Texas Science |
|
and Engineering Fair, this outstanding young Texan has ably |
|
represented his school and community, and the dedication he has |
|
demonstrated is sure to serve him well in the years ahead; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Aaron Rodriguez on his |
|
participation in the 2023 Texas Science and Engineering Fair and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Aaron Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
