R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Carlos Phillips II has earned great distinction |
|
|
with his outstanding service as principal of Booker T. Washington |
|
|
High School in the Houston Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the |
|
|
students, faculty, and staff of Booker T. Washington High School, |
|
|
Dr. Phillips has led the way in fostering a supportive and |
|
|
challenging educational environment on campus; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |
|
|
vitality of our state, and Carlos Phillips is playing an |
|
|
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential |
|
|
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Dr. Carlos Phillips II for his |
|
|
contributions as principal of Booker T. Washington High School and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Phillips as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
