A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to number of races displayed on an electronic system |
|
|
ballot screen at a time. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 124, Election Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 124.067 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 124.067. NUMBER OF RACES ON BALLOT SCREEN. An |
|
|
electronic system ballot on which a voter indicates a vote by making |
|
|
a mark on the ballot may not display fewer than two or more than four |
|
|
races on a voting system screen at a time. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
