SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 56
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Lisa Clark
 
         WHEREAS, The passing of Officer Lisa Clark of the Denton
  County Sheriff's Office on October 19, 2022, has deeply saddened
  her family and her many friends; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Clark first joined Denton County in February
  1999 as a court clerk for the Precinct 1 justice of the peace,
  where she worked until transferring to the sheriff's office as a
  detention officer in October 2006; over the course of her 16-year
  tenure, she served as a front desk clerk for the night shift and
  as a member of the classifications division; she held an
  intermediate jailer certificate; and
         WHEREAS, A dedicated employee who took pride in her work,
  Officer Clark was a generous and warm-hearted colleague, and she
  brightened the days of her coworkers with her ready smile and
  sunny disposition; and
         WHEREAS, Although Ms. Clark is greatly missed, she will
  long be fondly remembered by those individuals whose lives were
  touched by her affection and friendship; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Lisa Clark and
  extend heartfelt sympathy to her family, her friends, and her
  colleagues; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Lisa Clark.
