R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Chad Anderson concluded his dedicated service on the |
|
|
Celina City Council in 2022; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A Celina resident since 2003, Mr. Anderson has been |
|
|
a member of the council for nine years; he was first elected in 2013 |
|
|
to represent Place 6, and over the course of his tenure, he has |
|
|
served on the finance and government committee and as mayor pro |
|
|
tempore; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor's degree from |
|
|
Tarleton State University, and he is the managing partner of the |
|
|
Moyer-Anderson Insurance Group; deeply committed to his community, |
|
|
he has been a board member of the Greater Celina Chamber of Commerce |
|
|
since 2012; moreover, he is a volunteer at Celina Cajun Fest and |
|
|
Oktoberfest as well as a youth sports coach; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Anderson enjoys the love |
|
|
and support of his wife, Michele, and their two children, Molly and |
|
|
CJ; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The effective operation of government depends on the |
|
|
able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, and Chad |
|
|
Anderson may take pride in all that he has accomplished in behalf of |
|
|
area residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commend Chad Anderson for his service on the Celina City |
|
|
Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Anderson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
