R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Thomas McGaha is retiring from Texas Health and |
|
|
Human Services on April 30, 2023, drawing to a close an outstanding |
|
|
career with the State of Texas that has spanned over two decades; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, First joining HHS more than nine years ago, Tom |
|
|
McGaha became an audit coordinator in January 2016; he has served in |
|
|
the compliance division since its creation in September 2019, and |
|
|
over the course of his exemplary tenure, he has maintained a full |
|
|
load of coordination projects and has utilized his extensive audit |
|
|
experience to improve project resolution outcomes; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. McGaha previously worked for the Texas |
|
|
Department of Aging and Disability Services Office of Internal |
|
|
Audit and served as a project manager in the Texas Department of |
|
|
Insurance Internal Audit Office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his professionalism, dedication, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence, Tom McGaha has earned the respect and |
|
|
admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with pride |
|
|
on a career well spent as he begins the next exciting chapter of his |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby congratulate Thomas McGaha on his retirement from Texas |
|
|
Health and Human Services and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. McGaha as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
Senate. |
