R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 100th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly |
|
|
cause for celebration, and Dale Peden is marking this momentous |
|
|
milestone in her life on May 26, 2023; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Archer City, Mrs. Peden was |
|
|
born in 1923; she is a devoted mother to her children, and she |
|
|
treasures time spent in the company of her loved ones; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dale Peden has witnessed a panorama of change over |
|
|
the course of a century, and she has met life's challenges and |
|
|
opportunities with dignity and grace, earning the deep admiration |
|
|
of all who are privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby congratulate Dale Peden on the joyous occasion of her 100th |
|
|
birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Peden as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
Senate. |
