SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 651
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Mark Bronson, owner of the Bronson Clinic in |
|
|
Fort Worth, has received the 2023 Paul M. Tullio Award from the |
|
|
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Named in honor of Dr. Paul Tullio, a renowned |
|
|
leader in the chiropractic field, the Tullio Award recognizes |
|
|
individuals who have distinguished themselves in any or all of |
|
|
the areas of examination development, administration, analysis, |
|
|
or scoring for the chiropractic profession; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to operating the Bronson Clinic, |
|
|
Dr. Bronson has served as a designated doctor for the Texas |
|
|
Department of Insurance's Division of Workers' Compensation and |
|
|
as chief examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic |
|
|
Examiners; he has been active in the Texas Chiropractic |
|
|
Association as president of his district, as state director, as a |
|
|
board member, and as coordinator of the organization's |
|
|
Department of Scientific Affairs, and he was honored with its |
|
|
Doctor of the Year award; in 2016, he was appointed by Governor |
|
|
Greg Abbott to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, where |
|
|
he is currently serving his second term; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Bronson holds a bachelor of business |
|
|
administration degree in finance from The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin and a doctor of chiropractic degree from Texas |
|
|
Chiropractic College; he is a member of the American Chiropractic |
|
|
Association and the Texas Council of Chiropractic Orthopedists, |
|
|
and he holds certifications in chiropractic orthopedics, pain |
|
|
management, disability analysis, and neuromusculoskeletal |
|
|
medicine; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mark Bronson has served his patients and his peers |
|
|
with great dedication, and it is a privilege to join in honoring |
|
|
him for his myriad achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby congratulate Dr. Mark Bronson on his receipt |
|
|
of the 2023 Paul M. Tullio Award from the National Board of |
|
|
Chiropractic Examiners and commend him for his outstanding |
|
|
contributions to the chiropractic profession and to the health |
|
|
and well-being of his fellow Texans; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Bronson as an expression of high regard from the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
