R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Mark Bronson, owner of the Bronson Clinic in |
|
Fort Worth, has received the 2023 Paul M. Tullio Award from the |
|
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; and |
|
WHEREAS, Named in honor of Dr. Paul Tullio, a renowned leader |
|
in the chiropractic field, the Tullio Award recognizes individuals |
|
who have distinguished themselves in any or all of the areas of |
|
examination development, administration, analysis, or scoring for |
|
the chiropractic profession; and |
|
WHEREAS, In addition to operating the Bronson Clinic, |
|
Dr. Bronson has served as a designated doctor for the Texas |
|
Department of Insurance's Division of Workers' Compensation and as |
|
chief examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; he |
|
has been active in the Texas Chiropractic Association as president |
|
of his district, as state director, as a board member, and as |
|
coordinator of the organization's Department of Scientific |
|
Affairs, and he was honored with its Doctor of the Year award; in |
|
2016, he was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Board of |
|
Chiropractic Examiners, where he is currently serving his second |
|
term; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Bronson holds a bachelor of business |
|
administration degree in finance from The University of Texas at |
|
Austin and a doctor of chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic |
|
College; he is a member of the American Chiropractic Association |
|
and the Texas Council of Chiropractic Orthopedists, and he holds |
|
certifications in chiropractic orthopedics, pain management, |
|
disability analysis, and neuromusculoskeletal medicine; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mark Bronson has served his patients and his peers |
|
with great dedication, and it is a privilege to join in honoring him |
|
for his myriad achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|
hereby congratulate Dr. Mark Bronson on his receipt of the 2023 |
|
Paul M. Tullio Award from the National Board of Chiropractic |
|
Examiners and commend him for his outstanding contributions to the |
|
chiropractic profession and to the health and well-being of his |
|
fellow Texans; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Dr. Bronson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas Senate. |
