IN RE:	HB267 by Murr (Relating to an interim study of the appraisal of agricultural land for ad valorem tax purposes.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create a joint interim committee to study, review, and report to the legislature on the methods and procedures for appraising agricultural land for ad valorem tax purposes.

The joint interim committee would be required to report their findings to the Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Governor, no later than December 22, 2024.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
