HB542 by Raymond (Relating to a study on state land use to facilitate health and wellness for veterans.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Veterans Commission, in collaboration with the General Land Office, Texas Historical Commission, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to conduct a study to identify and assess the use of state land, including state parks, for the purpose of facilitating health and wellness for veterans. The report on the results shall be submitted no later than November 1, 2024. 

It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
