IN RE:	HB751 by Dean (Relating to the issuance of Coast Guard Lifesaving Medal specialty license plates.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Transportation Code, Chapter 504, to require the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) to issue specialty license plates for recipients of the Coast Guard Life Saving Medal and for recipients of the Coast Guard Silver Life Saving Medal.

Based on the information provided by TxDMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
